To order your new plate, simply select “Tahoe” from the list of available options.

Drivers in California can purchase standard-number plates through the DMV for $50 with an annual $40 renewal fee.

Drivers who choose to enhance the plate with personalized letters and numbers may do so for $103 with an annual $83 renewal fee.

When a person purchases a special California Tahoe license plate via the DMV website and submits the above form, he/she/they will have an option to receive one voucher from a participating local Lake Tahoe basin business. Vouchers are limited and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note: this offer only applies to the purchase of a CA Tahoe license plate starting May 1, 2021 until supplies run out. Renewals are not eligible for this offer.

One voucher per person.
Tickets valid for the summer 2021 season only, cannot be used for future seasons, and are not eligible for use on holidays. Each business will be operating by their discretion if there are certain days of the week they do not want the voucher to be used.
Tickets are non-transferable and have no cash value.
Vouchers remain the property of the business. No replacement tickets will be issued if tickets are lost or stolen.
The California Tahoe Conservancy and all program partners are not liable for lost, stolen or missing ticket vouchers.
Not valid in conjunction with any other offers.
Ticket vouchers are not valid for resale on online auction sites, such as eBay or Craigslist.
